1. Program Description
Program Name: The Inspection Academy Text Notifications
The Inspection Academy ("TIA," "we," "us," or "our") operates a TREC-approved home inspector qualifying education school based in Texas. When you opt in to receive text messages from us, you may receive automated SMS/MMS messages related to:
- Access confirmation for our free sample home inspector exam
- Follow-up messages after you complete the sample exam
- Information about our qualifying education (QE) programs
- Enrollment inquiries and next-step guidance
- Program updates and important notifications related to your enrollment
Messages are sent using an automated messaging system (A2P 10DLC). You do not need to consent to receive text messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
2. How to Opt In
You consent to receive text messages from The Inspection Academy by taking one or more of the following actions:
- Submitting your mobile phone number through a web form on theinspectionacademy.com
- Signing up to access our free sample home inspector exam
- Requesting information about our qualifying education programs via a web form or landing page
- Texting a keyword to our designated short code or phone number as instructed on our website
By opting in, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the mobile number you provided and that you are 18 years of age or older.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your activity and your level of engagement with our programs. You may receive one or more messages in connection with your sample exam access, exam follow-up, or education program inquiry. Message frequency is not fixed and may change over time.
4. Costs & Carrier Disclosure
Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS and data rates charged by your mobile carrier will apply to all messages sent and received. The Inspection Academy does not charge you to send or receive these messages, but your mobile carrier may.
Contact your mobile carrier if you are unsure about your messaging plan or applicable charges. The Inspection Academy is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.
5. How to Opt Out (Unsubscribe)
You may cancel text messages from The Inspection Academy at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us.
After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further text messages from this program unless you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers
Our text messaging service is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Metro PCS. Carrier support is not guaranteed on all carriers. If you do not receive messages after opting in, contact your carrier to verify that SMS messaging is enabled on your account.
T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and any information you provide when opting in are governed by our SMS Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

9. Changes to These Terms
The Inspection Academy reserves the right to modify or discontinue this text messaging program or these Terms & Conditions at any time, with or without notice. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the program after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Inspection Academy shall not be liable for any delays in the receipt of, or any failure to deliver, any text messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. Message services are provided on an "as is" basis, and we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to this text messaging program shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Texas.
